I herewith send you a duplicate of the Muster Roll for the month of October a coppy of which went by last post I also send my recruiting account and account current by which I appear one hundred and forty three Dolls 96[undecipherable] indebted to the United States I am in hopes you will not think my account extravagant as I have expended much more money than I have charged but it was in such small sums that it was not worth taking a receipt for
I have charged for my Retained Rations for when Mr Peyton was going away it was with difficulty he obtained payment for part of them from Mr Edw. Smith & Mr Smith says he has never yet received pay for them
