Your Letter of the 3d ins.t I hav to acknowledge the Receipt of in the absence of the A and have to inform you that the Sec.t of War has b ssisted that the Sum of eighty Dollars should be tra mitted to you for your Pay & one hundred Dollars for the Expenses of marching your Men. You wil agreeably thereto receive from D.r Kelty Sup.t tho Sums, which you will pass your Rec.ts for, to be ac for the due application of the latter Sum.
The Pay of your Recruits is dep to be sent. They will be paid on their arrival at M point.
