Sir Before I can give a decided Opinion on the Plank at Norfolk it will be nessary, that I shall be informed, what quantity of the Plank, thick Stuff, &Deals, are cut and delivered, or ready to be delivered of the different denominations, and the Contract prices, and what effect it may have, with regard to the contract if an alteration Should take places provided that alteration Shoud to be favorable to the person who were to furnish the Stuff. For this purpose you will please to prepare a letter to Mr Pennock requesting information on the above Subject or any other, you may think will throw light on the business, So as to enable me to form a decided Opinion. This I concieve to be the wish of the Secretary, and am with Esteem
