Inclosed is a statement of the live oak timbers for the 36 gun Frigate in the yard at Baltimore, the Blanks shew what timbers are yet to be received — Shewed Letter C denotes what timbers are to be of red cedar. It is supposed by this time a large supply is procured for the Frigates at Philadelphia and Baltimore, which the Constructors at those places are anxious to have sent them. The former pieces of floor and foe end of fir deadwoods are much wanted by each of the Constructors and the progress of the work is retarded for want of those particular pieces. The 3^d Buttocks 7 7 12 17 22 27 32 37 D N W and I may be cut two feet longer at the heads to reach the Port Cills and the following timbers may also be cut sufficiently long to run up to the top of the side bends if any difficulties should occur in procuring them of such length, than to cut them agreeable to former directions and by no means retard the work on account of procuring them of the length proposed. 3^d Buttocks to run up to the top of the side, if they can be conveniently had, without delay.
