Sir,
You will find enclosed herewith Muster & Pay Rolls of the usual detachments of Troops stationed at the upper post of the Ohio and Requisites for the Months of June & July 1795 together with some other accounts of pay and subsistance due, these Vouchers are accompanied by a Schedule on which the Aggregate amount appears to be one thousand four hundred eighty dollars fifty cents which sum be pleased to place to my credit —
You will observe an account of pay for two Months Service of Capt Crawford viz June & July 1795 this payment I have made in consequence of Colo Butlers special Order to enable Capt Crawford to support his family which is by no means in a state of affluence — he is now procuring Receipts and Vouchers for the monies by him received here — accounted for these Vouchers I expect will be transmitted to you by next Post —
