Your Account Current for your pay and personal Expences up to the 31 Augt 1795 ince has been handed me by Mr Perrault and as the pay and allowance of the Engrs are not fixed by Congress and the Secy of War not having mentioned in his Certificate the Compensation to be allowed you any allowance more than for pay at the rate of two Dollars pr day, all other charges in your Account I must therefore consider inadmissible. The Balance of your account of pay up to the 31 August 1795 inct amounting to four hundred and eighty five Dollars, which Sum you will receive of John Matthews Supt Georgia, for which you will please sign duplicate Receipts. ÷
