In conformity to the instruction[s] contained in your Letters of the 20th July and 28th Augt last to the Secy of War & acceded to by him; accounts have been rendered to this Office by William Hodgson as Superintendent-dant of Military Stores and Supplies for his Compensat[ion] and that of his under Store Keeper and Clerks, & also fo[r] sundry Disbursements by him in the Military and Ordnance Store Department up to 30th Sept 1795. As he is charg[ed] with Monies on the Books of the Treasury; it will be necessary before I proceed to make a Settlement with him, that all such Sums should be transferred to the Debit of his account on the Books of this Office, you will there[fore] Sir, please to direct in what Manner the same is to be effected.
