Sir, The Pay Roll for the Garrison at West Point has been examined, and the amount found due agreeably to enclosed Memorandum, being two Thousand and four hundred and fifty four Dollars and forty one Cents, you will receive from the Bearer hereof Samuel Fisher an Express, for which Sum you will give your duplicate Receipts to be accountable, to the Accountant of the Dep^t of War for due application thereof. — The amount due the Troop on Governors Island will be transmitted to Lieut Daylor. The Receipt Rolls transmitted by you for pay of the Garrison to 31 July last have been examined, and the Sum of five thousand seven hundred & sixteen Dollars & [undecipherable] has been passed to your Credit, & the Sum of 60 Dollars being the Amount of your Payments to Absentees for pay to 30^th June 1795 has also been entered to your Credit.
