Ensign Charles Martin at Carlisle [will] deliver you on your arrival there the Sum of one hundred and fi[fty] Dollars for the purpose of defraying the Expence of marching the Recruits from Carlisle to the Army for which Sum you will gi[ve] him your receipts to be accountable for the due application there[of.] On your arrival at the Army you will deliver the Vouchers for your Expenditures to Caleb Swan Pay Master General; and p[ay] him any Balance which may remain in your hands. &
