[undecipherable] / [undecipherable] 6 1795 / Rec^d a copy / [undecipherable] / Paymaster] West Point, October 6^th 1795 Sir, Lieutenant Elmer delivered yesterday into the regimental chest Two Thousand, Two Hundred and Eighty Dollars and Sixteen Cents, which he had received from Nicholas Fish Esq^r at New York as remitted by you to me for the pay of the troops at West Point. I enclose to you a muster and pay roll for the month of September 1795 for the troops mustered at this garrison on the 30^th of that month. I also transmit you a muster and pay roll, sent to me by Lieutenant Dayton, in command at Governors Island, together with his letter, which accompanied the same. Mr. Dayton has included in his muster roll Serjeant [undecipherable] Williams on furlough from the garrison and Corporal [undecipherable] doing duty with his company at West Point. I have not included them in mine. I would solicit your directions when the [undecipherable] at West Point, of the muster and pay rolls for the detachment stationed at New York.
