John Brook, Thomas Lupton and Danl Stratton of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers in the service of the United States whose Names are returned to you by the Temporary Pay Master of the Corps on his Muster & Pay Bill bearing date 1st Current — have drawn pay from the date of their Inlistments to the 30th November 1794 — as also for the Month of August 1795 and for no more time —
They were under my Command from the time of their Inlistment until 21st March 1795 — when they became and were returned absent without leave — On the 3d Augt 1795 they rejoined — consequently [undecipherable] a further period of which I am ignorant [undecipherable] — there is pay due them from 30 Novr 1794 to 21st March 1795 — as also for the Month of September 1795 —
