Description

Mentioned the liberation of prisoners held by Indians, and specifically noted James Thompson. British repairing fortification at the foot of the rapids of the Miamis of the lake. Mentioned Spaniards erecting a second fort on the East side of the Mississippi, possibly an act of aggression. Post is in want of hospital stores, there is a fear of typhus.
