Supervisor the Sum of 64⁷⁰/100 Dollars being for your Subsistence from the 1 Sept^r. 1794 to the 31 May 1795 incl^e. for which you will please sign duplicate Receipts to be transmitted to this Office. I am Sir &c. William Simmons. D. of War. Accountants Office. October 5. 1795. Tench Coxe Esq^r. Sir, Daniel Stevens Esq^r. Supervisor of Charleston informs me that he has transmitted to you his accounts of Monies passing through his hands for the War Department up to the 30^th June 1795 in order to be adjusted at the Treasury, and that you directed him by letter of the 10^th March last to render his Accounts with the War department from the 31 Dec^r. 1795 to the Purveyor of public supplies. If any of his Accounts relative to the above are in your possession, I must request that you forward the same to this Office, where all Accounts of this kind are to be settled. I am Sir &c.
