The Honorable Secretary of War Sir I have the honor to hand you an Estimate signed by C. Freeman of the Pay & Forage of the Troops in Georgia under the Command of Lieut Collo Henry Gaither for the months of June & July 1796 amounting to Four thousand one hundred forty two Dollars which sum you will please to give directions for placing in the Treasury, to be forwarded to said Freeman. I am & c Wm Simmons
