I have the Honor to transmit you inclosed a Muster Roll of my Recruits made up to the Commencement of the present Month; also a Pay Roll for the Months of July & August
No Money has yet been received on Account of pay for the Months of April May & June as I was led to expect by your favour of the 14. July.
In directing me to make out my own Pay Roll, it was not Specified that Duplicates should be transmitted, I have hitherto on that Account omitted, if necessary, it shall in future be done.
