As you and the detachment under your Command is ordered to Head Quarters; it is requisite that your Accounts should be finally closed in this Office you will therefore please State your Acc^t and send on all Vouchers you have in your possession for monies Expended in the Recruiting Serv[ice] with a Statement of all monies received and paid by you that a final settlement may take place—you will please attest to your Accounts. — I am Sir Y^r — William Simmons
