I transmitted you by the last [undecipherable] a muster and pay roll of this garrison for the month of August 1795. I now inclose you an account current [undecipherable] the United States [undecipherable] the troops of Artillery at West Point, by which there appears to have been in the regimental chest on the 11th instant, a balance of two thousand, six hundred, and twenty nine dollars and ten cents, due to the corps at West Point, and I find you [undecipherable] on account current of the same date, stating that there were in the chest one hundred and twelve dollars and forty cents due to men, who had [undecipherable] from hence. These two [undecipherable] make the amount of two thousand, two hundred and ninety one dollars and fifty cents.
