[(P/] Department of State September 8^th 1795 Sir I received your Letter of yesterday relative to M^r Moore: but other affairs prevented me from calling at this Office till to day: I have now inquired whether a Copy of a Statement of Facts, dated the 5 Ult^o sent by M^r Moore to Governor Fenner, has been Transmitted to the President of the United States, by Governor Fenner": No Statement of that date is found, nor any thing of that kind, except what you will see in the inclosed extract of a Letter from M^r Moore to Governor Fenner dated the 12 Ult^o.
