I have only to inform you That Charles Anderson, an Express has charge of the sum of Twenty eight thousand eight hundred and seventy two Dollars, being for the Pay and Forage of the troops at Head Quarters. Forts Knox Station &c for the months of June and July 1795 which sum he received in Post Notes agreeably to the enclosed List, you will on Receipt thereof please forward your Receipts as usual to this Office. —
