The Treasurer of the United States will remit you the following sums Viz
One thousand and seventy five Dollars and seven cents to be paid to Thomas Holt on Account of the disbursements of the Public Armoury at the Post of New London.
Three hundred and forty one Dollars and forty one cents to be paid to Lieut. Stephen Frazy of the 4th Artillerists at Fayetteville being for his pay from the 1st May and for the Pay of his recruits from the date of their enlistment to the 31st July 1795 inc. and three hundred Dollars to be paid to Lieut John Saunders of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers being for the use of the Accounting current.
For each of which sums you will take the receipt of the person to whom payable to be held accountable for its due Application. — I am Sir Yr C
