Richmond Va. Aug. 18. 95
Herewith transmit you two Muster Rolls of the detachment of Infantry under my command up to the 21st of July 1795; also a pay Roll from the 1st July to the 21st of the same Month — I take the liberty to observe, that a mistake was innocently made in the dates of the Inlistments of John Blembire & William Carson, — You will be pleased to take notice that the Muster Rolls are now agreeable to their enlistments — I thought that their Inlistments were as I stated to you in my letter of the 21st July last. — I have since been favored with the dates, and find that I returned John Blembire the 4th Sept. 1792 instead of 12th July 1792 consequently William Carson was returned the 12th July 1792 instead of Sept. 1792 — which makes a difference to these two men and not of the amount of pay Charged in this Pay Roll which ends the 21st of July 1795 —
I have the honor to be with respect Sir Yr Ob Servt
