Document 1795Acknowledges receipt of Wadsworth's letter accepting position as commissioner for treaty with the St. Regis [Iroquois] Indians. Has asked New York Governor Jay for the particulars on when the treaty will be commenced, and when the other commissioners will be at Albany -- he will inform Wadsworth of these specifics once they are known.
