D of War Accountants Office August 11^th 1795 Edw.^d Carrington Esq.^r Sup.^r Richmond Sir The Treasurer of the United States will remit You the sum of fifty two Dollars, and forty six Cents being the amount of Pay due Jacob Woolwine a Sergeant in Cap^t Alexander Gibsons Company 4^th Sub legion from the 1^st Jan^y to the 2^d July 1793 inclusive which was the day his Services expired to which sum you are to pay to Cap^t Alexander Gibson at Staunton, taking his receipt to be accountable for the Payment thereof to the said Jacob Woolwine.
