David Allison. D. of War Accountants' Office
August 11th 1795
Sir
Your Accounts and Vouchers for payments made the Militia of the Southwestern Territory are now under examination, I therefore have to request that if you have any additional Vouchers to bring forward that it may be done immediately as without them (if any) the passage of the Accounts will be much retarded — It has become my duty to call upon all persons who have received Monies from this Department to come forward and account for the same and return what money may appear on a settlement due the United States to the Treasurer; on failure thereof I shall be under the necessity of reporting as the Law directs.
I am Sir &c
