Nicholas Fish Esquire at New York is directed to pay you the following sums Viz: — Three Thousand and eighty five dollars and ninety six Cents, being for the arrearages of Pay due such men of the Corps as have arrived at West Point in the Months of June and July last agreeably to the enclosed Muster Rolls from No 1 to 7. Than Dollars and Sixty-one Cents being a balance Appearing due Philip Rodrigue Cadet on Settlement of his Account for Pay to the 30th June last; and the further sum of Three Dollars and sixty one Cents due Philip Landais Cadet being also a Balance Appearing in his favour on Settlement of his Account of Pay to the 30th June last — The whole of which three sums amounting to three thousand and ninety five Dollars and eighty Cents you are to apply to the purposes above mentioned and for which you are to be held accountable until the Necessary Receipts are Received at this Office.
The transmission of the pay of Capt. Thompson's Company for the Months of July and August agreeably to your request is suspended for future Consideration.
