Your letter of the 4th Instant enclosing your Muster & Pay Rolls I have received and after an Examination, find due thereon No: hundreds thirty one Dollars and fifty one Cents being for your Pay from the 10th March (the date of your Acceptance,) and of your Muse from the date of their Inlistment to the 31st of July 1793 inclusive which you will receive from Aaron Dunham Esq: and for which you are accountable to this Office for the disbursement thereof, agreeably to the enclosed Receipts Bills, after you have taken the mens Receipts, you will please transmit this Bills to this Office to exonerate you from this charge. You will observe that when a Man makes his Mark, it must be Witnessed by some Respectable Character.
I find that you have enclosed an account Stating the sum of 252 Dollars for Bounty paid your Recruits & for premiums allowed for Inlisting them, and you forwarded no Vouchers for the same, you will therefore please make out a Recruiting Account and transmit it together with the the Mens Inlistments and Receipts to This Office, which will be examined and passed to your Credits accordingly — You have enclosed Sundry Vouchers for —
