I am advised by Mr David Henley Agent for the Department of War, under Date at Knoxville 27th April 1795. of Sundry papers — being forwarded by him to Jonesborough to be forwarded from there by a Mr David Dederick to your House directed to my predecessor Jos Howell Esqr who has this day informed me that they are now in your Possession — I therefore take the liberty to Request that you will please to deliver them to the bearer in so doing you will oblige —
