I received your letter of the 23 Inst. and am sorry that you have not the Paymasters Certificates of the time to which you have been paid, however you may State your Account in the same manner that you did the last, giving the United States Credit with the Money which you lately received from this Office to which you must Certify on oath before a Magistrate, that your Charges are just and that you did not receive any part or parts thereof except such as are therein Stated — as soon as this is done the balance which may appear due will be remitted you without delay. — I am Sir Yc
