Department of the Accountants Office Feb^y 24, 1795. By the Muster of Captain Vanzorge's Corps William Tull was a private in said Company is numbered to have deserted on the 7^th March 1792 — It appears by his Narrative that he was taken Prisoner by the Delaware Indians on the 7^th April 1792 and that he remained a prisoner until the 7^th November 1794 at Detroit where he was released — It also appears that on the 18^th November 1794 at Detroit Oregon that Timothy Pickering Esq^r did advance to him the Sum of ten Dollars to enable him to travel to Philadelphia to recover his Pay, no settlement has as yet been made with him. I am therefore of Opinion that a demand should be drawn in favor of the worthy Schemes for the sum of ten Dollars to refund him this Sum advanced to william Tull late a private of Capt Vanzorge's Company and to be charged to him on the books of this Office on account of his Pay. I Certify that there is due to a Detachment of the Lake Simon Stations at this post, the sum of two hundred and fifty five Dollars for their pay for the Months of April, May and June 1795, which Sum is to be transmitted to a Nicholas Fish Esq^r Supervisor of New York, & by him to George Fleming Esq^r who is to be accountable for the due Application thereof.
