I am directed to request, you would correct the errors, which may have unavoidably arisen from my being obliged to receive verbal information from the men; and that you would transmit immediately, the amount due on this roll to West Point, that the council of administration might fully comply with the instructions of the Secretary of War.
The money, amounting to Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Sixty Four Dollars and Three cents, and which you have lately transmitted through the hands of the Supervisor of New York to the paymaster, at West Point, is arrived, and I am now occupied in distributing it to the men.
I am further ordered to request, that you would forward to West Point the pay, when due, for Captain Thompson's company for the months of July and August. The council of Administration have directed, that these months should be set a part for the Stoppages of the men's wages, agreeable to instructions.
I Shall Send you, as soon as I am able, a muster and pay roll for this garrison for the month of July 1795.
