[163] Nicholas Fish Esq^r Sup^r New York D. of War Accountants Office July 25. 1795 Sir The Treasurer of the United States will remit you the sum of two hundred and ninety Dollars which sum you will pay to Michael G Houdou deputy Store Keeper at Albany, it being the following purposes Viz: Two hundred dollars thereof on Account of the incidental expences of the Ordnance Department, and ninety dollars on account of the Pay of the said Mich^l G Houdou for the Months of April, May, and June 1793 for which you will take his receipts to be accountable — I am Sir Y^rs William Simmons Michael G Houdou Military Storekeeper Albany. D. of War Accountants Office July 25 1795 Sir Nicholas Fish Superior of the Revenue at New York will repay you the sum of two hundred and Ninety Dollars; Two hundred thereof being an advance on account of the Incidentals expences of the Ordnance Department for the due Application of which you are held accountable. And ninety Dollars being for your Pay for the months of April, and May, and June 1795 for each of which sums you will receipt to the said Nicholas [undecipherable] to be accountable — As soon as leisure will permit, your stringent Accounts will be taken up for examination and settlement; I expect that in your disbursements of the publick Monies placed in your hands you have been strictly guided by your Instructions
