On the adjustment of your Account for commission on receiving and paying sundry sums of Money from the War Department between 16 April 1792 and 15 August 1794 the sum of Five hundred and twenty dollars, and seventy five Cents was found due to you, for that sum, which sum will be remitted to you by the Treasurer of the United States. On Receipt of the same you will please to forward your Receipts to this Office for the amount. The above sums differs from the Balance as stated by you owing to a deduction of 2 dollars, being charges by you on Two hundred dollars which you mention to have received of Samuel Hodgdon, and for which transaction no commission can be allowed from this Department —
