July 22 1795 Dear Sir I transmitted you some time since an order on your Predecessor in office drawn by Maj.^r Roberts in favor of Mrs Roberts for a part of his pay amounting to 115 Dollars per Quarter, the receipt of which you have not done me the favor of acknowledging. Mrs Roberts has come to this country at the instance of her husband, for the education of her children, I had this arrangement made for her support on part.
