West Point July 21 1795 Sir Inclosed are my accounts with the United States for Pay and Subsistence up to the 30 of June inclusive, I forwarded them to the accountent Office the last Spring up to the time they where sent in order to have a Settlement that in future I might be put in the Pay=rolls and draw with the Troops. But the accountant thought Proper to send me draughts on the late M^r Gorham Supervisor of Boston to the amount of $06 Dollars which is in the credit accou[nt] I am under the nece[ss]ity of beging the Secretary of war to direct Captain Fleming who act as Pay Master to the troops of this Place to Pay me the balance due me on my account.
