Sir The Treasurer of the United States will remit you the sum of One thousand five hundred and ninety eight Dollars and seventy four Cents, being on account of the disbursements of the Public Armoury at the Post of New London in Virginia, which sum you will pay to Thomas Holt of said place taking his receipt to be accountable for the due Application thereof. Sir I have to inform you that agreeably to your order in favor of M^r Wiley Perkin, he received One thousand one hundred and two Dollars and 26 Cents — being the amount of your Estimate on account of the disbursements of the Public Armoury at New London Virginia, and on the 5.
