I Certify that there is due to the Officers, non Commissioned Officers and Privates of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers who were present at West Point on the 30 [undecipherable] last agreeably to a Muster Roll now on file in this Office the Sum of one thousand four hundred and eighty Dollars and seventy three Cents, being the amount of their Pay for the Month of June 1798, which Sum is to be transmitted to Nicholas Fish Paymaster at New Yorke, to be held accountable for the Payment thereof to Lieut Nehemiah Freeman temporary Pay Master to said Corps, who is to be held accountable for the due Application thereof —
