I Certify that there is due to the Officers, non Commissioned Officers and Privates of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers who were present at West Point on the 31st May last (agreeable to a Muster Roll transmitted by Capt Abiate Storms on file in this Office) the Sum of one thousand and fifty five Dollars and seven Cents, being in full for their pay up to the 31st of May 1798 inclusive, which Sum is to be transmitted to Nicholas Fish, Supervisor at New York, to be held accountable for the Payment thereof to Lieut Nehemiah Freeman temporary Pay Master to said Corps, who is to be held accountable for the due Application thereof —
