Alexander Thompson.
Sir I have received your Muster and pay Roll for the month of June which has been examined and now transmitted you through Col. Fisk the amount found due being 433 [undecipherable] Dollars, the difference between this sum and the amount you made it will be explained to you by the Extract inclosed agreeably thereto. the sum on to be paid — You will also receive from Col. Fisk the sum of 74 [undecipherable] being the amount of your Account for retained Rations due to you which was calculated at 11½ Cents per Ration the Contract price of rations for that year.—
You stand charged on the books of this Office with all monies transmitted to you for the pay of your Company until you send forward your Receipt Rolls, I there fore would advise you to send them on, as early as possible that credit may be passed to you for the amount — You will receive herewith The blank Muster Pay and Receipt Rolls that you require.
