Pittsburg 10^th July 1795 Sir Herewith is enclosed an Invoice of Stores sent to Fort Washington on the 7^th Instant in Charge of Lieut. Horrette, being the whole of the Indian Goods that had then arrived together with some others since the departure of Lieut Polhemus on the 24^th Ultimo. A Return of Quarter Master & Ordnance Stores & Provision in Possession of the Officers of the State of Pennsylvania at Cape-waga & Le Bœuf on the 4^th Instant is enclosed Accompanied by an Invoice of Provision &c. Intended to be forwarded to Fort Franklin on the 4^th Instant I apprehend after for the intended Post at Presqu Isle. And Yesterday I sent forward by land under escort of Capt. [undecipherable] detachment twelve Pack horse loads of Flour, ten Barrels & one pair of working Oxen for further supply will be forwarded in a few days. The Quarter Master General set off for Fort Washington on board a light Boat on the 7^th previous to his departure I consulted him with respect to the Goods then on hand. I got on the way from Philadelphia intended for the Chocsaw Indians, & it was his Opinion that it would be most proper to retain the Articles then on hand until the whole arrived & then forward them directly to Nashville on board a light Boat, but notwithstanding his Opinion he directed me to apply to you Sir for Instructions respecting this business. A return of the several Articles that appear intended for the Choctaws, is also enclosed. That part of those Goods that have been forwarded in Charge of Anthony Jostin & those since received & now on hand will also appear. By a small Boat from Fort Washington this moment arrived I received a Packet enclosing one addressed to you which is now herewith transmitted.
