Freeman Pay master of the Regiment is Sending to you the Muster Roll according to the formation of the three battalions for the month of June: we will endeavour to Set the Comptability in the greatest light and order. For this first moment and the want of better informations from the recruiting officers who are absent. There will be few mistakes of Slight Consequence which will be easily rectified. I request you Sir to forward to the Council of Administration the Sum which is due for the past month of June according to the Muster roll and an equal Sum for the month of may. which is also due and which the pay master will pay to the officers and Soldiers according to the Muster Rolls which have already forwarded to you. An other Sum to face the antient muster Rolls Some men having now five month of pay due and many three or four. Give me leave to observe to you that Several of the officers depend entirely upon their pay for their Support. and they would feel much indebted to you if you would transmit regularly their pay.
