After I had Inclosed and forwarded to the Post office this day I recollected the Vouchers was wanting to prove my men being Mustered, I now Inclose you Co Butties Certificate for eight of my men, James Moody was Mustered the last of august 1794 by Capt Sparks at Carlisle, John Shingfelt was Mustered in Octr by Ensign Martin & Corpl Stephen G Hogan and Patrick Ambrose was Mustered by Ensign Martin in March, Aprile and May, this [strikethrough: is] the Amt of my Recruits Excht, McManaph & Dermid who deserted previous to their being Mustered, This I have done to have my act Justly Settled which I Expect will be done.
