The Secretary of War. D. of War Accountants Office
June 30.th 1795.
Sir
Having been informed by Col.
Rochefontaine that the troops at West point were much in want
of their pay, but as detachments have been constantly joining
the corps, since the last Muster and Pay Roll were for-
warded and as an other months has since Expired, I
think it now advisable previous to sending on the Money
that the Commanding Officer be directed to order
Muster and Pay Rolls to be made out to the end of the
present months agreeably to the form transmitted to Capt.
Morris for that purpose and forward them to this Office
on receipt of which I will have them immediately
examined and the whole amount due the troops there
shall then be Remitted as you may please
