Sir Inclosed I transmit you a Pay Role for the month of march — A Muster Roll and pay Role for April and May, there are some men mentioned in the Muster Roll that should have appeared in the Rolls previous, but I received no Muster Rolls or returns from Lieut Cox, since the last of January untill the first of June, therefore could not possibly insert them — I have not carried out the sums in the last Pay roll, Ensign Torrans's Name being inserted, which induced me to think it would first be necessary for You to see it. The recruiting party being returned from Columbia will enable me in a few days to transmit to You the receipt Roles for all monies paid the Soldiers.
