Lamberton June 24 1795
Colonel Samuel Hodgdon
Sir
In conformity to your order I have made out the inclosed return, which contains an au[undecipherable] of all the Stores now on hand at this Place. I have noted against each article the order in which they are, [strikethrough: The town] Mr. John W.
Furman who is the barer of this will deliver you my vouchers for Stores I sued & forwarded; Should they not be quite in [strikethrough: the order] you will please to let them be returned & give directions [strikethrough: how you wish them to] & I will have them done —
The pieces of artillery are under cover & most of the other articles fit for use, The [undecipherable: probable reading "Artisan"] & Common Tents are not much worn, they are dirty & will want washing to save them from [strikethrough: undecipherable] damage. I have them laid separate on a large Garret which I think will keep them from great harm for a while —
The Pails [undecipherable: probable reading "Camp Kettle"] Shovels Spades & Axes are of little use, having been all Issued out & transported to Fort Pitt. Last fall, the first articles would be saved by having some Coopring done
