Your letters of the 29.th Ulto to the Secretary of War enclosing Sundry Vouchers for payments made by you, was handed to me by him. in answer thereto I have to inform you that as you have not forwarded a Recruiting Account and Account Current agreeably to your instructions I now return them to you that you may state an Account Currt shewing the monies received and expended by you, and qualify thereto, and forward the same with a Recruiting Account & Vouchers to this Office, on receipt of them an examination will take place, and the balance found due to you will be paid as you may direct.
