Inclosed is the return of Ordnance and Stores for the May. the carriage bodys for the 28 six pounders are all finished except the side boxes and painting. There is thirty three wheels to make and them will complet the whole. I have got Iron for the Tires and the Blacksmiths are now at works on it. I hope to have all the carriages finished in about Three [strikethrough: or] four weeks I wish to know if the 8 Inch Howitzers is to be mounted hear. for we have used all the plank that was bought for them that was sent to Philadelphia if they are to be done hear it is neccfsary to have the put up a drying.
