Pittsburg 12^th June 1795 Sir, I have received your Letter of the 8^th Instant. All the Military Stores that was in Possession of the late Western Army under the command of Gen^t Morgan is already removed from the Encampment & deposited in Fort Fayette except such Articles as were absolutely necessary for two Companies of Infantry & one of Cavalry that are retained in Service — a part of these men are under Inoculation for the small Pox, as soon as they are recovered, which will be in a few days the remaining Stores will be transported to this Post. On the Evening of the 8^th Instant Ensign Peyton with forty six fine Recruits arrived from Winchester & next morning embarked for Fort Washington. M^r Anthony Foster of Nashville having waited there several days for the Indian Goods intended for the Chicasaws a part of which having arrived are delivered to him together with four sets of Plough Irons, the powder lead & flints agreeable to your Order & one Thousand and thirty five Buffalo Blankets to make up a deficiency of that number that appears intended for those Indians, which I presume with some other Articles are still on the Road but comes too late for the present Opportunity of Conveyance.
