Your letter of the 1st June to the Secretary of War was handed to me, and in answer thereto I have to inform you that you may forward to this Office all your Vouchers for expenditures, also an Account Current stating the money received, and expended; on receipt of them an examination will take place, and any balance found due you — will be paid as you may direct.
I now have to inform you that the Treasurer has remitted to George Gate Esquire Supervisor the sum of eighty three Dollars &[undecipherable] being for the Pay of yourself, and Recruits to 31st May which sum you will receive from him giving him duplicate receipts to be accountable. —
