Your letter of the 1st June to the Secretary of War was handed to me, and in answer thereto have to inform you that you may forward to this Office all your Vouchers for expenditures, also an Account Current stating the money received, and expended; on receipt of them an examination will take place, and any balance found due you - will be paid as you may direct —
I now have to inform you that the Treasurer has remitted to George Gate Esquire Supervisor the sum of eighty three Dollars [undecipherable] being for the Pay of yourself, and Recruits to 31st May which sum you will Receive from him giving him duplicate Receipts to be accountable. —
