Enclosed is my return for the month of May, 1795 — also James Hackett Constructor's receipt for sundries delivered him by me, together with his receipt for sundries taken by me from Decr 20th 1794 to Apl 30th 1795 with the alteration as below stated — In my return to the 30th Apl I committed an error in misplacing the amt of White Oak timber delivered James Hackett, for what was on hand at that period — viz the 102 pieces 5344 feet to James Hackett in lieu of the 80 pieces 5828 feet — I have to apologize for the error & beg your excuse therefor
